Just got back from our 2 week honeymoon at the Hotel Parador. We absolutely loved it there! The Hotel is beautiful and the views are incredible. But what really makes Costa Rica and Hotel Parador special is the people. Everyone we met on our trip was super nice and genuinely excited to show us their beautiful country.
The staff at the Parador were especially friendly. One of our first days there we met Diego up at the suites pool and bar. He is such a genuine and friendly person and really made us feel at home. From giving us tips about where to eat, to letting us know all of the good surf spots in the area, Diego did an awesome job and represents the best of Costa Rica. On days we weren’t hanging at the pool we would always look forward to stopping by the suites bar and catching up with Diego. We definitely made a great new friend in Costa Rica. Make sure you stop in and tell him Nick and Samantha from New Jersey said Hi!
The rest of the hotel staff were great also. All the bartenders (Gary, Gerardo, Diego and Luis) are super friendly and more than happy to answer all your questions about anything in Costa Rica (and serve great drinks) as well as make small talk and keep you laughing. William at the tour desk always has a huge smile and really goes out of his way to make sure you get the best tours and there are are no mistakes. Allan and Luis at the front desk are always smiling and will get you whatever you need. David and the other bellmen in the lobby were always there to greet you with a smile and knew your name after the first day.
The food at the hotel restaurants and bars was always very good (french onion soup and tex mex wrap especially) and again the staff did a great job. Waiters Roberto, Joseph and Eric (and the hostesses) will take care of anything you need and again, are genuinely happy to make small talk and help you enjoy your stay. It was really nice that they would remember your name and always ask how your day was.
We stayed at the hotel for 13 days and cannot say enough great things about it. It’s located in such a beautiful town and there are so many great bars and restaurants in the area that we wished we could have stayed another 2 weeks. The food in the area was excellent and very reasonably priced. Definitely much better than most other vacation spots we have been. This was my second trip to Costa Rica (my wife’s first) and we can honestly say it is our favorite place to travel. There is so much to see and do that I don’t think we could ever get bored. We would highly recommend visiting Costa Rica and especially the Hotel Parador. You will not be disappointed !

Kattya drew us a map of Quepos and told us where to find shoes for our granddaughter. Hope to see you again sometime with our other grandchildren.

Another awesome vacation at the Parador. The facilities, amenities, suite, and service were all exceptional! Above all else, it’s the staff, from the front desk through the maids, at the Parador that has made it our favorite vacation resort/hotel. We’ve stayed there twice now, and both times have been a wonderful experience, primarily due to the staff. We’ve been treated as friends, rather than guests, and that has made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. We would like to commend a few employees specifically: William, Diego, Roberto, and Gary took especially good care of us and exceeded all of our expectations in meeting all of our needs. Their service and attention to detail was exceptional! They even greeted us by our names on a daily basis and made us feel as though we were special.
We would like to thank all of you for the pleasure and wonderful experience of sharing our vacation with us. We hope to be visiting all of you again very soon.
We had a wonderful stay at the Parador! We had fantastic service every evening with Gary & Diego at the bar and had delicious meals at the restaurant. The staff made everything easy and effortless from booking tours to calling taxis. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and have recommended it to friends and family since our return.

There were 7 of us and we had a room problem and he quickly rectified the problem by upgrading our rooms. Your waiter Roberto was very accommodating and the chef made a special honey mustard dressing every night for our grandson which was delicious.
Our three grandsons greatly enjoyed the pools and had a ball in them.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Parador. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was very kind (especially Alan…I think that was his name) to the bell boy who took our luggage to our room, to the bartenders, waiters, cleaning staff, everyone! For us, service is of great importance and your staff very willingly provided great service. The facilities were beautiful! My only disappointment was with the shuttle service. We would have liked to have been able to go into Quepos Center but the hotel did not provide it and even the shuttle to Manuel Antonio did not run as often as we would have liked. Nonetheless, I would not hesitate to recommend your hotel. Thank you very much.

It is my pleasure to reply to your email. My husband and I had a wonderful four nights at the Parador last week. It was the end of a beautiful holiday in Costa Rica. We came with Voyages Jules Verne and spent the first ten days visiting your wonderful national parks, seeing wildlife and your amazing forests. The Parador was the ‘icing on the cake’ of our holiday. All of your staff were charming, helpful and efficient. We were very impressed by their training and courtesy. They made it all seem effortless. But we observed how hard they work. Please pass on our warm thanks to all of your staff – especially Oscar and Beatriz (and the very nice young man with glasses who served in the pool-side bar – I am sorry I forget his name) who served us so well, but managed to do so as if they were offering hospitality to friends.
We loved the garden and, of course, the monkey trail, which we walked several times.
Our room (423) was beautiful with views over both the ocean and the bay.
One morning around 6.00 a.m. we had the privilege of watching troupes of both howler and white faced monkeys playing in the treetops below our balcony.
Thank you again for making our stay so memorable. We had a wonderful time and won’t forget our stay at the Parador.

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at the Parador. It was Paradise. The hotel was amazing with so many great things to do, we enjoyed the trails and got to see so many animals! From the start we were served fresh fruit juice and a cold towel and greeted always so so nicely. We checked in and that experience was great as we got an upgraded room (full ocean view suite). I cannot remember his name, but the guy who drove us to our room gave us a nice tour of the resort and explained where everything was. We got into our room and were blown away, the room/view/everything was breathtaking!!!! Out of everywhere I have stayed I would rank this #1! The breakfast was fantastic, the food during lunch/dinner was the best we had! The service was the best around, we really enjoyed Diego (bartender/server in the suites restaurant), he was wonderful. We also got a couple’s massage, again better then we have ever had. I could go on and on and on about what a great experience we had at your resort!!! I was even impressed because the gentleman that drove us to our room the first day, said goodbye when we left and used our first names! My husband has already recommended your resort to friends and I will make sure to recommend to our friends/family. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved every single thing about our stay at the Parador! The drive to the hotel was beautiful (we very much appreciated being picked up at the airport just as promised) and it was so nice to have a pina colada waiting for us upon arrival! The hotel staff was so kind and the location stunning! I have heard that hotels normally look incredible in the pictures but are disappointing at best once you get there. Quite the opposite! Our expectations couldn’t have been higher and we couldn’t have been more thrilled by what we found! Even some of the people we met in the surrounding area agreed with us that the Pardor Resort and Spa was the best hospitality experience we would find in Costa Rica! And that is saying a lot since all the people we met in Costa Rica were so wonderful.

My wife and I have returned home with some wonderful memories thanks to you and your staff. Our 44th wedding anniversary will certainly be one to remember. We want to thank you so much for the accommodations that were more than what we could have ever expected. The staff was so attentive. They all made us feel so welcomed — from the restaurant hostess Kattya, housekeeping, the waiters and grounds caretakers. We again want to thank you so much for a wonderful time. Bonnie and I will consider El Parador as the destination to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We can plan on an enjoyable visit lasting 15 days. All the best.

Our stay at Parador was wonderful. We don’t have anything but compliments towards your hotel and all your wonderful and helpful staff. From our greeting at the lobby with that delicious drink and wet towel, to the rooms, the food, the service and wonderful view.
My family will never forget the nice lady during our breakfast preparing the most delicious eggs and omelettes. She was very nice, helpful and always smiling.
We were in Costa Rica for almost 2 weeks and we are definitely planning on returning in a year or two. We have recommended this hotel to everyone in the USA. Costa Rica is wonderful country to visit.

Hello dear friends. We spent 14 days in your hotel in June 2009. Our stay was very pleasant and the service was great all the time. That includes the whole staff, especially the very kind waitresses and waiters in the restaurant with excellent meals. We enjoyed our vacation in your hotel as a unique experience referring to the wonderful pool & spa area and the beautiful garden.
