A visit to famed Manuel Antonio National Park is an absolute MUST and will certainly rate as a holiday highlight. The most celebrated natural zone in Costa Rica and the area’s main tourist attraction, the Park is ribboned by white sand beaches and is home to a vast array of wildlife including white-face, howler and titi monkeys, sloths and giant iguanas. Toucans, Parrots, Mot Mots and a host of other tropical birds paint the forest in brilliant hues as the cacophony of jungle voices seduces the visitor into a state of nature-inspired wonder. This is a non-strenuous hike appropriate for all ages. Upon completion of the guided segment, feel free to stay and enjoy the Park’s beautiful beaches.

Naranjo River - White Water Rafting
A thrilling half-day excursion over the Medium (Class III and Class III Plus) rapids of the spectacular Naranjo River about a 40 minute drive from Quepos. Perfect for the novice rafter and those who want an exciting yet relaxing ride. Stopping for a dip in the river (assuming, of course, that you haven’t already fallen overboard) towards the end of the run allows you to cool off and prepare for the journey back.

Horseback Riding Trek To Waterfall
Enjoy a scenic horseback trek through the fertile hills and tranquil countryside outside Villa Nueva about 30 minutes from Parador Resort & Spa.
Twisting trails and lush rainforest lead you to a river, along which you will ride for about 1 ½ hours.
A quick hike will end at two spectacular waterfalls where you can swim in a calm
pool beneath the natural torrent and enjoy some revitalizing snacks (juice,
water, fruit, cookies). Back on the horses for another hour and then off to
enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch. A great half-day trip for couples, groups

Horseback Riding On A Farm
Feel like a Tico cowboy or Tica cowgirl as you enjoy this scenic four hour horse trek through 1,000 stunning acres of working cattle ranch, lush rainforest, African Palm and fruit tree plantations.
The only working cattle ranch and private horse farm in Costa Rica’s southern zone, this excursion provides the unique opportunity to help wranglers move cattle from pasture to pasture and visit the onsite dairy where cheese is made and fresh milk is bottled.
Further, enjoy the solitude and serenity offered by riding through dense jungles which comprise almost as much land mass and contain as much wildlife (monkeys, sloths, coatis, tropical birds, etc…) as Manuel Antonio National Park. Departing from Espadilla Beach in Manuel Antonio, the journey will take you around Punta Quepos and the small islands speckling the shimmering turquoise waters of this Central Pacific region. A brief stop to “refuel” at one of the area’s beaches for snacks and a quick swim before disembarking at Quepos Pier where we then head to one of the local restaurants for lunch or dinner.
